Allen & Overy files lawsuit on behalf of the ACLU of Massachusetts against the Bristol District Attorney's Office for Public Records Law violations

On March 18, 2024, Allen & Overy filed a complaint on behalf of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Massachusetts against the Bristol District Attorney’s Office (BDAO) for records related to the BDAO’s collection, storage, and use of individual’s DNA information.
In the complaint, the ACLU of Massachusetts alleges that BDAO did not comply with its obligations under the Public Records Law and seeks a court order that BDAO comply with its obligations and produce the requested information.  More information can be found here: https://www.aclum.org/en/cases/aclu-massachusetts-v-bristol-district-attorneys-office
