Allen & Overy in Luxembourg launches AML / CTF e-learning module for Fund Professionals

Allen & Overy Luxembourg has developed an e-learning module for fund professionals to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter terrorist financing (CTF) obligations, both critical areas on which Luxembourg's competent authorities particularly focus on.

Professionals in Luxembourg and the EU which are subject to AML / CTF obligations are required to carry out appropriate training for their management and staff, at least once a year. The consequences of non-compliance with AML / CTF obligations can be severe, ranging from administrative sanctions and reputational damage to criminal liability.

The e-learning course leads to individual certifications, upon successful completion of a final assessment. The comprehensive curriculum has been created by lawyers from Allen & Overy's Regulatory, Litigation and Funds practices – who combine legal expertise and industry knowledge.

The training can be accessed from any device and location and can be completed at the learner's own pace and time, providing flexibility and convenience for funds' management and staff.

A special early-bird price is available for the first 100 participants.

To find out more and/or to sign up for the training, please send an email to amltraininglux@allenovery.com.
