Allen & Overy, an international business law firm, announces that it has become a member of French Tech Grand Paris, the ecosystem that brings together investors, corporates and decision-makers around innovation and growth.

As part of this membership, the Allen & Overy teams, specializing in the Tech sector and experts in Private Capital and Venture, are organizing a first event with French Tech Grand Paris on the legal issues for start-ups based in France who wish to develop internationally, specially in the United States. The event will be held at Station F, the largest start-up campus in the world, on Monday November 27, 2023. It will bring together, among the panelists, experts in France, the United Kingdom and the United States from Allen & Overy and the French Tech.

“We are delighted to join the French Tech Grand Paris, a key player in the French and global entrepreneurial ecosystem. We share with them the desire to support start-ups in their growth, financing and development on an international scale, by providing them with our cutting-edge legal expertise and our global network. This event, the first of our collaboration, will be an opportunity to discuss best practice, opportunities and challenges to succeed in foreign markets, specially in the United States’ market, which is particularly attractive but also strongly competitive and regulated,” says Olivier Thebault, partner in the Corporate/M&A department of Allen & Overy in Paris.

“The French Tech is pleased to count Allen & Overy among its members. We are delighted that Allen & Overy’s experts in Tech, Private Capital and Venture for start-ups, investors and corporates, will provide support to members of the French Tech Grand Paris,” adds Lara Rouyres, president of French Tech Grand Paris.
