A&O further bolsters Asia-Pacific Litigation practice with the hire of Melody Chan

Allen & Overy is further bolstering its Asia-Pacific Litigation practice with the appointment of Melody Chan, a partner based in the Hong Kong office. Melody joins from White & Case, where she was the head of their Greater China Dispute Resolution practice.

Melody’s practice focuses on complex, high-value, multi-jurisdictional commercial litigation, debt enforcement and insolvency work, international arbitration and ancillary matters across investigations, antitrust and data privacy. She has particular experience of advising Chinese financial institutions, as well as clients in the energy, construction and TMT sectors.

Melody has a proven track record of advising clients with business operations both within and outside Greater China on cross-border disputes.
