A&O Shearman advises on debut issuance of green bonds by Bank Millennium

A&O Shearman advised Bank Millennium on issuing EUR500 million 5.308 per cent Green Senior Non-Preferred Callable Fixed to Floating Interest Rate Notes due 2029. This the first issuance of Green Bonds by Bank Millennium. The notes are listed on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, including its green segment, LGX. BNP Paribas, Erste, Millennium BCP, Morgan Stanley and UniCredit acted as joint lead managers. 

The A&O Shearman team was led by Łukasz Walczyna assisted by Alicja Urbańska. Jamie Durham and Enakshi Jha provided English law advice. Arkadiusz Pędzich supervised the project.
