A&O Shearman advises on Kinder Morgan’s USD1.25 billion notes offering

A&O Shearman represented the underwriters, led by BofA Securities, Inc., BMO Capital Markets Corp., MUFG Securities Americas Inc. and RBC Capital Markets, LLC, as joint bookrunners and representatives of the several underwriters, in connection with Kinder Morgan, Inc.’s offering of USD500 million of 5.10% Notes due 2029 and USD750 million of its 5.95% Notes due 2054.

The net proceeds from the offering are being used for general corporate purposes, including repayment of commercial paper borrowings and refinancing upcoming debt maturities.

Kinder Morgan, Inc. (NYSE: KMI) is one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. KMI owns an interest in or operates approximately 82,000 miles of pipelines, 140 terminals, 700 billion Bcf of working natural gas storage capacity and 5.4 Bcf per year of renewable natural gas generation capacity. KMI's pipelines transport natural gas, refined petroleum products, crude oil, condensate, carbon dioxide, renewable fuels and other products, and its terminals store and handle various commodities including gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, chemicals, metals, petroleum coke, and ethanol and other renewable fuels and feedstocks.
