A&O Shearman advises Seven2 on the sale of its majority stake in Europe Snacks

A&O Shearman has advised Seven2 (formerly known as Apax Partners), a leading European private equity firm, on the signing of an agreement with One Rock Capital Partners to sell its majority stake in Europe Snacks, a leading pan-European player in savoury snacks for third-party brands.

Under Seven2’s ownership, Europe Snacks has grown from a French player into a pan-European leader through both organic development and M&A. Europe Snacks will continue to develop and accelerate its growth in Europe, having already multiplied its revenue by eight since Seven2 invested in the group in 2013.

The A&O Shearman team was led by partner Marc Castagnède and counsel Jules Lecoeur, with associates Yasmine Benhmida and Arthur Curti on M&A aspects, partner Charles del Valle on tax aspects, as well as partner Florence Ninane and senior associate Clémence d'Almeida on competition law aspects.

The UK due diligence was notably led by London senior associate Tina Barazandeh-Nejad and Sydney associate Riley Phillips-Harris, and the Spanish due diligence was notably led by counsel Pablo Mendez, associates Sergio Ochagavia and Maria Isla in Madrid.
