Restructuring expertise strengthened in Paris with new hires

Allen & Overy announces the arrival of Hector Arroyo as a restructuring partner into its Paris practice. He joins A&O with a team of three associates: Antoine Santoni, Léa Marlière and Hicham Kaddaha. 

With over 15 years’ experience, Hector Arroyo specialises in financial restructuring, corporate insolvency and distressed M&A transactions. He regularly advises international creditors, including banks, private equity funds and hedge funds, as well as debtors in strategic and complex transactions often with a cross-border element. Hector also advises institutions investing in distressed situations.

Hector Arroyo holds a Masters II in Business Law from the University of Paris Dauphine (2010) and a Masters in Law from the Federal University of Goiás, Brazil (2006). He was admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association in 2007, to the Paris Bar in 2010 and as Solicitor of England and Wales in 2020. He began his career at Bremond & Associés where he became partner in 2018. In 2020, he joined Baker McKenzie as a partner to create the Restructuring & Insolvency practice in Paris. Hector is also Founder and Honorary President of the French young restructuring professionals association (AJR) and member of the leading turnaround association in France (ARE).
