Representative matters

  • Mandiri Institute in relation to regulatory review to allow the formation of an Indonesian sovereign wealth fund under Indonesia’s Job Creation Law.
  • INA, in relation to the sale of its stake in two sections of the Trans-Java Toll Road to a foreign consortium.
  • Swire and INA, on their proposed investment in PT Pertamina Bina Medika IHC.
  • Tokopedia, on its USD18bn combination with Gojek, to create the largest technology group in Indonesia.
  • A telecommunications provider on its USD6bn merger with H3I, majority owned by CK Hutchinson, to create a new world class digital telco for Indonesia.
  • PT XL Axiata Tbk, on a series of capital markets transactions which involves a rights issuance, bonds and sukuk offerings.
  • PT XL Axiata on the acquisition of PT Link Net Tbk, a publicly listed Indonesian fixed broadband services provider, and the subsequent mandatory tender offer of shares in the company.
  • EdgeConnex on the acquisition of a data centre business (PT Graha Teknologi Nusantara) (GTN) from PT Mulipolar Technology and Mitsui.
  • WeLab on its acquisition of Bank Jasa Jakarta and transformation into a digital bank. The bank is jointly acquired by WeLab together with PT Astra International Tbk.
