Over the last fifteen years, Andy has advised the trustees of some of the largest UK pension funds on strategic and technical matters including risk reduction, scheme funding and regulatory compliance.

He is highly valued for his ability to translate technical pensions law into practical strategic advice for both trustees and companies.

Andy has an easy-going, straightforward manner which is loved by clients. He delivers regular trustee and industry training and workshops. Recent training topics include the ongoing effect of EU law on UK pension schemes, the obligations on employers to communicate with pension scheme members and modern governance for trustees. Andy sits on the legislative committee of the Society of Pension Professionals. He supervises the firm’s work with the Afghan Pro Bono Initiative and with a UK asylum support charity.
