Barnabas Kiss

Associate

Barnabas specialises in Hungarian and EU competition law and general EU law.

In addition to his expertise in various aspects of competition and antitrust law, including cartel and abuse of dominance investigations as well as merger control, he also has experience in consumer protection and civil and administrative litigation matters.

He is also a lecturer at ELTE Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest and pursues PhD studies in that same university in EU law.

  • Randstad, a leading global human resource consulting firm on a landmark cartel decision by the Hungarian Competition Authority (Vj/61/2017).
  • Ingatlan.com, a Hungarian online real estate classified ad site, on a consumer protection case before the Hungarian Competition Authority.
  • An online dating company on a consumer protection case before the Hungarian Competition Authority.
