Diogo Casqueiro

Senior Associate

Diogo advises on a wide range of cross border leveraged finance deals across the credit spectrum.

In addition to mainstream leverage finance transactions, Diogo’s work focuses on private credit as well as the crossover between infrastructure finance and leveraged finance. Diogo’s capabilities are also complemented by his experience in M&A and R&I (distressed situations).

In addition to his capabilities under English law transactions, Diogo is also experienced under Portuguese and Luxembourg laws, furthering his ability to bridge the demands of cross border transactions and to liaise with legal counsel across jurisdictions.

The clients advised by Diogo (which include arrangers, underwriters, lenders, alternative credit providers and other financial institutions) value his responsiveness, technical ability and commercial advice. Clients also appreciate Diogo’s ability to devise creative solutions, consider different financing options and the impact of complex structures in the financing strategy. He is constructive with a view to ensuring smooth execution of deals.
