Fabian is Head of Luxembourg M&A.

He has extensive experience in general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, and equity capital market transactions, with a particular focus on financial institutions, funds / asset management and insurance and reinsurance sectors. He has considerable experience in advising clients on M&A transactions, be it on the buyer or seller side. His involvement includes a hands-on approach regarding the drafting and negotiation of transactional documentation.

Fabian is one of only a few Luxembourg M&A practitioners to be ranked consistently as a “Band 1” or “Leading Individual” by legal directories (Chambers, Legal500, IFLR1000).

Prior to joining the firm in Luxembourg in 2007, Fabian spent ten years in the M&A team of the firm's Brussels office. He is admitted to the Luxembourg and New York Bars and is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences, including recently on M&A trends and shareholders’ agreements under Luxembourg law.
