Immie has extensive experience advising on complex behavioural matters, cartel and abuse of dominance investigations, as well as high profile multi-jurisdictional merger clearances, before both the European Commission and the UK competition authorities.

Immie advises clients across a broad range of sectors, with particular experience working on cases in the financial services, TMT and insurance sectors. Immie has spent eight months on secondment to the UK Competition and Markets Authority, and has also completed a client secondment as well as spending time in our Brussels office.

Immie is a key contact for the global antitrust enforcement report which covers global cartel conduct and other forms of antitrust enforcement around the world.

  • Direct Line on the sale of its brokered commercial insurance business to RSA.
  • NortonLifeLock on its acquisition of Avast.
  • Broadway Technology on its sale to Bloomberg.
  • Refinitiv (and shareholder Blackstone) on the EC review and global merger control proceedings for Refinitiv’s USD 27 billion proposed acquisition by the London Stock Exchange Group.
  • 21st Century Fox on the merger control and regulatory aspects of its GBP27.7 billion takeover bid for Sky, and its subsequent USD71 billion acquisition by The Walt Disney Company.
