Jennifer Wyatt-Molloy

Associate

Jennifer has experience advising on a wide range of litigation matters, with a particular focus on corporate advice and commercial litigation. Jennifer also has experience in matters determined by international arbitration, as well as insolvency and restructuring, and internal investigations. She has a particular interest in working with clients to manage risks associated with topics such as sustainability, ESG and climate change.

Jennifer has a background in public and private M&A, she has experience advising a diverse client base across jurisdictions and sectors, including energy and resources, financial services, private equity and large corporates.

Experience

Representative matters

  • A French events company that entered into French insolvency proceedings known as a Sauvegarde, in September 2020, in relation to a proceedings before the English courts brought by parties claiming an interest as senior lenders. 
  • The Vroon Group in relation to the restructuring of its 22 bilateral financing arrangement, of up to EUR1.5bn in various jurisdictions. Contingency planning (including chapter 11, scheme, WHOA), cocom discussions and operational restructuring and litigation, which resulted in the first ever parallel use of the new Dutch WHOA and an English scheme of arrangement. 
  • An international oil & gas company on major claims and disputes relating to the Ichthys Onshore Contract.
  • Mineral Resources on litigation proceedings in the Supreme Court of Western Australia instituted by Tristar Water Solutions and in relation to a counterclaim by Crushing Services International for damages suffered as a result of defects associated with the design, installation and commissioning of a reverse osmosis water treatment plant in Western Australia.

Pro bono

  • Assisting the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees on analysis of domestic case law relating to the determination of refugee status under Australian law.
  • Volunteering as a moderator for in school clinics provided by Young Citizens through their "Legal Experts in Schools" programme.
