Martin advises on all types and stages of both cross-border and domestic M&A transactions across various sectors and markets, including advice on joint ventures, carve-outs, restructurings and post-closing integrations.

He helps clients to structure, negotiate and execute complex deals efficiently and effectively. He also provides guidance on contract law and general corporate law matters.

Martin works with clients from various sectors and industries, including manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, financial services, technology and pharmaceutical industry.

Experience

Representative matters

  • Macquarie Asset Management on the disposal of its 55.21% interest in GasNet, the Czech Republic’s largest gas distribution network, and GasNet Služby, an associated network maintenance and operations business.
  • ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. (a Czech agricultural machinery manufacturer) in respect of a joint venture agreement between ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. and VST TILLERS TRACTORS LIMITED in connection with establishment of JV in India.
  • A consortium of investors, including J& Arch Investments, and the founder Ondřej Kania, on strategic CZK1bn divestment of a majority stake in Consilium Europe (operator of private schools based in CEE and Spain) to Dukes Education.
  • FAGRON B.V. on its public offer addressed to minority shareholders of FAGRON a.s. (where FAGRON B.V. is majority shareholder).
