Megan represents sponsors, governmental institutions, export credit agencies, DFIs, IFIs and banks on the structuring and financing of projects in a variety of sectors in the energy and infrastructure space, with a particular focus on energy transition work (including EV battery gigafactories and offshore wind).
Megan has extensive experience on multi-sourced holdco and platform debt financings of projects worldwide. As part of her wider contribution, Megan is an active committee member of SEAL (Society of East Asian Lawyers) within the firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion network.

Experience

Representative matters

  • AESC on the development and financing of a EUR1.3 billion lithium-ion EV battery gigafactory in Douai, France, including financing from the European Investment Bank.
  • Northvolt on its USD5 billion non-recourse project financing for the expansion of its lithium-ion gigafactory project in Sweden.
  • The sponsor on the development and financing of a 12GWh lithium-ion battery gigafactory project in the UK.
  • Maincubes on the EUR1.035 billion financing of the development of its European based data centres business.
  • The lenders (including ECA covered lenders) funding the acquisition of a 50% interest in the 1.32 GW Hornsea Two offshore wind farm.
