Monika is a member of the global private equity group. She has significant experience acting for private equity firms and other private capital investors on acquisitions and disposals. She also has experience in a wide range of corporate transactions including large multi-national joint ventures, cross border private acquisitions and disposals and restructurings.

  • Bridgepoint on its disposal of Care UK, a provider of residential care for older people to the public and private sectors.
  • Cinven’s Strategic Financials Fund on its acquisition of a 50% interest in Policy Expert, one of the UK’s fastest growing insurance businesses, from its current owner, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA).
  • Avenue Capital Group and Robus Capital Management in connection with the sale of Schletter Group, a Germany-based provider of solar mounting systems, to Blackstone and Rivean Capital and their joint portfolio company Enstall, the world's leading provider of rooftop solar mounting systems.
  • Apax Partners LLP on its acquisition of WGSN Limited, a leading global consumer trend forecaster, from Ascential for a total enterprise value of up to £700 million.
  • Ardian on the disposal of Audiotonix, a global market leader in the design, engineering and manufacture of professional audio mixing consoles and related products to PAI Partners.
  • One Equity Partners on its acquisition of MSQ Partners, a tech-enabled marketing, creative service and digital transformation consulting firm, from LDC.

  • Sampo and Rand Merchant Investment on the shareholder arrangements related to their acquisition of Hastings Group Holdings plc, the UK insurance company.
