Nick advises on a range of contentious matters including finance and commercial disputes as well as antitrust, regulatory and anti-bribery and corruption investigations.
Nick’s practice is increasingly focussed on antitrust litigation and investigations, particularly where these involve financial institutions. He has considerable experience advising on cross-border antitrust investigations and is currently involved in the defence of large-scale antitrust damages actions, including collective proceedings. Nick was recently seconded for six months to Allen & Overy’s Competition Group where he worked on a range of behavioural antitrust matters.
Nick has also advised on regulatory and anti-bribery and corruption investigations; on banking, securities and construction litigation; and on arbitrations in the automotive and transport sectors. In 2016-17 Nick was seconded for six months to a major corporate client based on Japan, where he focussed on international commercial arbitration.
Prior to qualification Nick trained at Allen & Overy, gaining experience in the capital markets, derivatives and asset finance practices. He was seconded for six months to the Hong Kong office, where he focussed on international commercial arbitration.
