Niels advises clients not only on on-going regulatory matters (including ESG/SFDR and marketing /distribution related queries), but also on structuring and corporate law related questions in the context of regulated and unregulated Luxembourg investment funds (e.g., AIFs with focus on impact investing/private equity/ infrastructure/ debt/ real estate and venture capital funds in the form of a SIF/RAIF/SICAR/UCI Part II or SCS/SCSp, as well as UCITS funds); he further specializes and regularly assists clients on the establishment of AIFMs and management companies and advises those clients on daily regulatory and legal questions.
Niels is qualified in Luxembourg and first joined the firm in 2014 until 2017. He gained significant experience as head of legal in a leading third party AIFM in Luxembourg and within an international law firm in Luxembourg, prior to re-joining the firm in 2023.
