Paolo is co-head of the Italian M&A and Real Estate practices and has almost 20 years of experience in private capital-M&A / real estate-M&A deals, assisting a variety of clients (PE funds, listed and unlisted companies and real estate players) across a range of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and joint-ventures in different industry sectors. 

Since joining the firm, Paolo has also gained significant experience in cross-border transactions providing advice to international players on various Italian law aspects related to their projects in Italy. 

Paolo has been awarded “Emerging Corporate M&A Lawyer of the Year 2018” at the Italian Legalcommunity Corporate M&A Awards; “Lawyer of the year - Transactional Investments 2021” at the Italian Legalcommunity RE Awards; “Lawyer of the Year – RE 2022” at the Legalcommunity 40 Under 40 Awards; and “Lawyer of the Year - Private Equity 2023” at the Italian Legalcommunity 40 Under 40 Awards.
