Pauline Choplin

Associate

Pauline specialises in public contracts (PPP, concessions notably) and projects documents. She assists sponsors and lenders with greenfield and brownfield projects spanning the infrastructure and energy sectors, including airports, rail, telecoms, ports, onshore and offshore wind, solar PV, green hydrogen and battery manufacturing. Pauline has additional experience in regulatory and environmental issues relate to the energy and TMT sectors. She has developed specific expertise in climate change-related litigation and is involved in pre-litigation and litigation matters before French courts.

Representative matters

  • AESC on the development and financing of a 9GW car battery gigafactory in Douai, France.
  • Hy24, the world's first investment manager fully dedicated to scaling up the hydrogen economy, on the development of hydrogen in France.
  • A.P. Møller Capital (APMC) on its investment in the Eranove Pan-African group, including on the electricity and drinking water concessions contracts.
  • The lenders of a consortium led by Deme Concessions NV in relation to the award of a public service concession for the development, operation, management of Port-La Nouvelle commercial port in France.
  • Eoliennes en Mer on the financing, development, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of the 496 MW Dieppe Le Tréport windfarm comprising 62 wind turbine generators and their associated equipment.
