Sebastian advises banks and financial institutions as well as investors and corporate borrowers in all matters of complex German and cross-border banking and finance law transactions.
Having worked in the firm's Munich and London offices, his work particularly focuses on financial restructurings and distressed financings. Sebastian also has extensive experience advising in public and private leveraged and investment grade acquisition finance, syndicated loans and general corporate lending and high-yield bond offering.

  • Centerbridge Partners as lead investor in a USD 700mm private financing, alongside other institutional investors, of Sabre Corporation.
  • The banking syndicate on the comprehensive refinancing for a large German automotive supplier.
  • Daimler AG in connection with the spin-off of its truck business on a EUR 18bn syndicated loan agreement for Daimler Truck.
  • ENERCON on its EUR 1.15bn syndicated loan as part of a fundamental reorganisation of the company and on all other corporate finance matters.
  • Alterric GmbH, joint venture of the Aloys-Wobben-Stiftung and EWE AG in the successful debut financing of the company (syndicated financing).
  • The lenders on Permira-owned CABB group’s high yield bond and RCF refinancing.
  • PAI Partners on the EUR 1.2bn financing of its acquisition of Apleona GmbH.
