Taddeo represents clients before courts and arbitral tribunals in international and domestic disputes involving project finance, loan facilities, international trade law, securities, antitrust, and post-M&A issues.

He advises commercial and investment banks, investment funds, government agencies, business associations, and public-listed and other companies with operations in finance, trade, insurance, technology, manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure.

As a regular contributor to law journals and books, Taddeo publishes opinions on commercial and financial law, litigation, and arbitration. He is also a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars.

Representative matters

  • An American global corporation on a USD100m multi-faceted international trade finance dispute spanning across a wide range of jurisdictions and involving multiple parties.
  • An export credit agency on a EUR 20m international arbitration regarding an export credit insurance provided in the context on an international project finance with parties from European and APAC jurisdictions.
  • An international infrastructure asset manager on a dispute strategy and negotiations concerning the construction of several windfarms across Poland with a total value of EUR40m.
  • A global investment bank on a number of litigation proceedings involving the bank’s prospectus liability in relation to one of the most extensive corporate bond issuance programmes in Poland.
  • A major business association on an antitrust dispute strategy against the largest Polish sports federation and one of the leading sports operators. The precedential nature of the dispute has gained industry-wide attention, triggering an intervention by the Polish competition watchdog, who sided with the association’s members.

Pro bono

  • Building a long-lasting relationship and regularly co-launching projects with a Polish charity whose mission is to counter the social exclusion of children and provide them with a sense of security and confidence in their potential.
  • Conducting seminars for law students interested in pursuing careers in international finance and commercial law.
