Teresa has experience in representing international and domestic clients in civil, contractual and corporate litigation and arbitration, involving construction disputes, complex financial products and liability claims.
She has also advised national and international financial institutions, funds and companies on pre-insolvency (including restructuring), insolvency and guarantee enforcement matters, where she has handled challenges to the judicial approval of restructuring plans, objections to the sale of productive units, claw-back actions and the qualification section (sección de calificación).

Experience

Representative matters

Multiple Spanish and foreign lenders on the insolvency proceedings of Grupo Abengoa and the pre-pack sale of its productive unit.

Avramar Seafood on the restructuring of its financial indebtedness through the newly implemented restructuring plan entered into with creditors.

Pro bono

Advising the Spanish DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee), Comité de Emergencia Español, on its establishment (a project with which, for the first time, the Spanish office won the A&O Pro Bono & Community Investment Awards 2021).

Advising the Junior Achievement Foundation for the development of the Z-Shake project "I am my future" for the academic and professional guidance of students.
