Tomasz specialises in banking and finance transactions, focusing on project finance and other structured financings. 
Tomasz also has a wealth of experience advising on leveraged finance transactions and has advised on a number of bilateral and syndicated, secured and unsecured non-structured loans, as well as distressed restructurings.

Experience

Representative matters

  • Polenergia S.A. on a cooperation agreement with the IFC to co-finance H2Hub - a hydrogen production plant development project, including two refuelling stations and accompanying infrastructure.
  • A group of pan-European and Polish lenders on a USD1.285bn financing for the development of FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) infrastructure in Poland by Polski Światłowód Otwarty (a JV formed by P4 (Polish subsidiary of Iliad) and InfraVia).
  • A group of financial institutions as mandated lead arrangers and underwriters, and Crédit Agricole Bank Polska and ING Bank Śląski as original lenders on a new credit facility as original lenders on a new credit facility agreement amounting to PLN5.5bn for P4 to partially finance the acquisition of shares in UPC Polska.
  • PFR (Polish Development Fund) in connection with the implementation of a government financial support program for enterprises called "PFR Financial Shield for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises", following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
  • Grupa LOTOS and LOTOS Asfalt on the preparation, financing and implementation of the “EFRA – Effective Refining” project consisting of the construction and operation of a delayed coking unit with auxiliary infrastructure in the immediate vicinity of the Grupa LOTOS refinery in Gdańsk with an estimated value of PLN2.5bn.
