Zineb Bennis is a member of the Projects, Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure (PENRI) group of A&O Shearman.
Specialising in financing, she works on project financing transactions in France and abroad. She advises both sponsors and lenders (commercial lenders and DFIs) on greenfield and brownfield project financings.

Experience

Representative matters

The borrowers on the financing, the development, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of:

  • the 488 MW Iles d’Yeu et de Noirmoutier windfarm comprising 61 wind turbine generators and their associated equipment (April 2023) and
  • the 496 MW Dieppe Le Tréport windfarm comprising 62 wind turbine generators and their associated equipment (April 2023).

The Sponsors and Borrowers in the refinancing of two existing credit facilities made available to each of Aéroports de Lyon and ADL Participations by way of two ESG linked credit facilities agreements for up to 159 million at ADL Participations’s level and 155 million at Aéroports de Lyon’s level incorporating the ambitious ESG strategy of Aéroports de Lyon.

NGE/TIIC/Quaero Capital/Ascendi on their bid for the financing, construction and operation of A69 motorway between Toulouse and Castres (France).

The lenders of the SEMOP Port la Nouvelle (held notably by Deme Concessions, the Région Occitanie, CDC, and Europort), concession holder of the concession contract related to the renovation and extension of the port of Port La Nouvelle. 

EIB on the review and negotiation of the financing documentation on the CEOG (Centrale Électrique de l’Ouest Guyanais) solar to hydrogen project in French Guyana.
