Mashal is experienced in advising clients on governance, culture, risk and control issues. She works with senior leaders and boards across banks, asset managers, fintechs, scale-ups, corporates and other industries, to design and deliver effective risk and compliance frameworks, training programmes, governance reviews and develop bespoke solutions to navigate regulatory and business challenges.

Mashal works with clients in the US, Europe and the Middle East and draws on her previous consulting experience at Accenture, where she worked with a range of clients in the capital markets sector, delivering large scale transformation programmes in response to regulatory and business change.

Representative matters

Designed an extensive training curriculum for the newly created legal centre of excellence for a large Middle Eastern corporate

Delivered a global programme of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training to over 500 employees for a well-known FMCG corporate

Prepared several Board and senior leadership level training programmes in relation to effective governance, leading teams, diversity and inclusion and regulatory requirements

Drafted bespoke compliance and governance policies and procedures include a code of conduct for a listed company

Assisted a large professional services firm to understand their anti-trust compliance and confidentiality risks and identify how best to mitigate these

Supported a global payments fintech with the design of its Group governance framework to ensure effective engagement between Group and subsidiary entities

Supported a large US broker-dealer with a multi-jurisdictional review of their US anti-money laundering program against relevant rules and regulations across their global operations

Supported banks and other AIM and FTSE listed companies on governance effectiveness reviews to assess perational effectiveness including strategic planning, risk management and the quality of reporting and management information
