Adam is a projects lawyer and transactional construction specialist. He has extensive experience of advising clients on complex energy and infrastructure projects in the Middle East, the UK and Africa.
 
He advises on procurement strategies, concession arrangements, construction & engineering contracts (including FEED, EPC, EPCM, project alliancing, D&B and DBOM), operation & maintenance contracts and framework agreements across all major infrastructure sectors.

Experience

Representative matters

A state-owned oil company and TAQA on the construction aspects of the $3.6bn financing and development of two independent sub-sea high voltage direct current systems, comprising of cables and onshore and offshore converter stations in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi on a build-own-operate-transfer basis.

Lenders on the construction aspects of the $1bn 940MW Tanajib Cogeneration and Desalination Project, a greenfield industrial steam, water and electric cogeneration plant and seawater desalination plant in Saudi Arabia, procured by Saudi Aramco.

The Sponsor consortium (Sembcorp Utilities and Jinko Power Technology) on the Manah II 500MW Solar IPP in Oman. 

A bidder in connection with the 90 MIGD Hamriyah IWP desalination plant project in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
