She advises and litigates on the full spectrum of employment and benefits. Her work includes advising on mergers and acquisitions, cross-border employment, works council matters, transfer of undertaking and outsourcing, as well as drafting service and employment documentation and managing both collective and individual termination processes. She acts on behalf of our domestic and international clients. Chelsea also contributes to pro bono initiatives within the firm. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Chelsea worked as an employment lawyer at an international law firm, where she also fulfilled the role of chairperson within the local works council.
Chelsea has an LLM in Employment law from Erasmus University. In 2020, she completed the post-graduate employment law course (cum laude) at the post-graduate institute for employment lawyers and started lecturing there in 2023. Chelsea was ranked ‘Rising Star’ in the Legal 500 in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Since July 2023, Chelsea is a board member of Bridges Network, a foundation committed to bridging the gap between law students with a bicultural background, and first generation law students, and law firms in the Netherlands, by providing students with a network and increasing diversity and inclusion within the legal profession.
Chelsea is a member of the Dutch Association of Young Employment Lawyers (Vereniging Jonge Arbeidsrecht Advocaten), the Dutch Employment Law Association (Vereniging voor Arbeidsrecht) and the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (Vereniging Arbeidsrecht Advocaten Nederland).
