A&O Shearman advised Randstad, the world’s leading talent company, in its acquisition of Torc, a next-generation AI-powered talent marketplace platform.

Torc is an intelligent talent network whose AI-driven platform enables skill-based matching to connect digital talent to clients around the world. The acquisition allows Randstad to accelerate its clients’ access to talent and to further its goals across cloud, data, digital engineering and customer experience.

A&O Shearman lead partner Jesse Debban said: “We are proud to have supported Randstad in its transformative acquisition of Torc. The A&O Shearman team was led by Silicon Valley M&A partner Jesse Debban, with support from counsel Soumya Sharma and associate Loni Cardoso.
