A&O Shearman advises on the Republic of Peru's USD3 billion bond offering

A&O Shearman advised the underwriters in connection with the Republic of Peru’s SEC-registered offering of 5.375% U.S. Dollar-Denominated Global Bonds due 2035 and 5.875% U.S. dollar-denominated global bonds due 2054 for an aggregate principal amount of USD3 billion.

The Republic of Peru intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to finance general budgetary requirements for fiscal year 2024.

The A&O Shearman team was led by Capital Markets partner Alejandro Gordano and included tax partner Lorenz Haselberger, Capital Markets associate Gonzalo Robles, visiting attorneys Marcello Pompilio and Moises Gonzalez, and tax associate Daniel Kachmar.
