A&O Shearman advises Terna S.p.A. on the new EUR750 million green bond
Terna S.p.A. has completed the placement of a single-tranche, fixed-rate, green bond issue with a nominal value EUR750m, intended for institutional investors.

The bonds were issued under Terna’s Euro Medium Term Notes (EMTN) Programme and have a duration of seven years, with maturity on February 17, 2032. The bond in question was the subject of a dual listing for the first time on both the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and the regulated Telematic Bond Market (MOT) of Borsa Italiana.

The A&O Shearman team assisted the pool of financial institutions that acted as managers and was led by counsel Alessandra Pala with partner Cristiano Tommasi, supported by associate Marco Mazzurco. Counsel Elia Ferdinando Clarizia handled tax aspects.
