A&O Shearman is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Middlebrook, a highly regarded litigation lawyer.

Amy's versatile skillset and wide-ranging litigation experience aligns with the firm’s global strategic focus and will significantly enhance A&O Shearman’s Australian market offering.

Amy’s practice is cross-sector, encompassing both domestic and cross-border work. She has proven expertise in complex commercial litigation, financial services, and class action disputes, and has experience facing key regulators such as ASIC and the ACCC. She also has a background in pharmacology and has expertise in acting for healthcare clients on a range of complex litigation and regulatory matters.

Amy’s arrival enhances A&O Shearman’s ability to conduct large-scale commercial litigation.

Amy joins A&O Shearman from Baker McKenzie where she was a partner in the firm’s Australia dispute resolution group. Admitted in New South Wales and to the High Court of Australia, Amy graduated from the University of Sydney.
