A&O strengthens infra and energy M&A capabilities with hire of Edward Holmes

A&O has today announced it is further bolstering its Infrastructure and Energy practice with the appointment of Edward Holmes as an M&A partner based in the London office.

Edward joins A&O from CMS, where he has been a partner since January 2022. Prior to this, Edward was a senior associate at Clifford Chance, where he joined as a trainee in 2010. He specialises in M&A transactions with a particular focus on energy and infrastructure transactions.

Edward has represented a wide range of financial sponsors and corporates on their acquisitions and disposals, minority investments, takeovers, joint ventures, IPOs and restructurings.
