Ahmad acts for banks, financial institutions, publicly listed and private companies and government entities on a wide range of matters.

Ahmad has a broad understanding of the UAE Commercial Companies Law and listing regulations, including IPO matters, public companies mergers and related governance issues. Ahmad’s experience is centered around advising boards of directors and executive management on corporate governance and public companies’ continuing obligations, including shareholder engagement and board and committee legal structures. He regularly represents clients on capital markets transactions, including capital raising, secondary offerings and block trades and off market transactions. Ahmad also acts as a board secretary and advisor for a number of publicly listed companies in Abu Dhabi.

Ahmad regularly assists in drafting laws and regulations in the United Arab Emirates. Most recently, he was part of the team that advised the United Arab Emirates government on the UAE Tolerance Initiative Regulatory reforms - the biggest-ever overhaul of its legal system in the country’s history.

Ahmad is an attorney at the Bar Association of Jordan and admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
