Ally de Padua

Partner

Ally serves as counsel to banks and other financial institutions as lenders and strategic investors, as well as private equity funds and corporations as borrowers, in a wide range of domestic and international financings. 

Her experience includes advising clients with respect to the financings of mergers and acquisitions, debtor-in-possession and exit financings, first and second lien financings and working capital and asset-based financings, with particular experience in negotiating and managing complex cross-border transactions.

Ally focuses on the Americas, and she is also a member of the Firm’s Latin America transaction practice, where she partners with her colleagues in our Capital Markets, Corporate and Project Finance practices to provide U.S. leveraged finance advice to clients making investments across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Ally received the “Individual Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Champion Award” from A&O Shearman's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Group in 2023. She was also a member of the deal team that worked on the “Private Equity Deal of the Year” and the “Digital/Infrastructure/Telecoms Financing of the Year,” as recognized by LatinFinance, and the “Syndicated Loan Deal of the Year,” as recognized by the GFC Media Group.
