Astrid is a member of the Executive Committee and has more than 25 years of experience in national and cross-border M&A Transactions.

She focuses on private equity transactions and counts both international and German investors and sellers among her clients. 

Astrid also frequently advises on distressed restructurings as well as in the implementation of tax structurings and corporate reorganizations.

In particular, she advises private equity investors on their acquisitions and divestments, co-investments and management equity programs. Her sector focus is on technology/TMT and consumer facing businesses, and she regularly advises with respect to industrial targets. Astrid also frequently advises in the context of carve-outs and transition of family-owned businesses. 

Clients compliment Astrid on her pragmatic, hands-on approach and value her ability to bridge gaps in difficult negotiations.

  • Nimbus on the sale of the Battenfield-Cincinnati Group and the Exelliq Group, together a leading manufacturer of extrusion machinery and equipment.
  • Riverside on the acquisition of Dastex Reinraumzubehör GmbH & Co. KG,as well as a swedish add-on to Dastex.

  • Riverside on the sale of its shareholding in Transporeon Group, a logistics platform provider linking manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers with logistics service Providers.
  • Deutsche Telekom on the hive-down of the T-Home division to T-Mobile Deutschland. With the hive-down, the company has pooled its domestic landline and mobile businesses in a single Company.
  • A multinational information technology company on the acquisition of a 3D hardware and software provider.
