Daniel has advised on a number of public and private residential mortgage backed financings and covered bond transactions both in the UK and in Europe. 

He has advised both originators (including building societies) and arrangers and managers and, in relation to covered bonds, advises a number of the UK regulated covered bond issuers.

Daniel also has experience of portfolio sale transactions (both buy- and sell-side) both in the UK and in Europe and has advised sellers on a number of disposals of non-performing loans, from managing bid processes through to negotiation of documentation and the completion of the sale. He has advised on a number of securitisations of non-performing loans and re-performing loans, along with auto ABS transactions.

Albion No.1, No.2, No.3, No.4 and No.5 plc - Leeds Building Society on each stand-alone residential mortga ge-backed securitisations of loans originated by Leeds Building Society. 

A global private equity firm on each of the “European Residential Loan Securitisation” transactions, which securitised portfolios of performing, non-performing and re-performing Irish residential mortgages acquired from banks in Ireland 

Bank of Cyprus on three disposals of non-performing assets 

Hellenic Bank on a disposal of non-performing assets
