Dustin is experienced in a wide variety of domestic and international tax issues, including with respect to the taxation of capital markets transactions (including CLOs, MBS, ABS, structured products and other financial instruments and derivatives, IPOs, investment grade and high yield debt offerings, and SPACs), cross-border financing transactions, including particularly in the leveraged finance space, M&A, project finance and FATCA.

A significant portion of Dustin’s practice involves advising dealers, managers and sponsors in the CLO and ABS space, as well as advising underwriters and issuers in a wide variety of capital markets transactions, and advising lenders in leveraged finance transactions. Dustin also regularly advises clients with respect to structured products and derivatives transactions. Dustin is also part of a team that won the 2022 “Impact Award” at the TrustLaw (Thomson Reuters Foundation) Pro Bono Awards, for work related to journalists' rights.
