  • Waterland, shareholder of UP Holding, on the sale of the United Petfood group to a new holding vehicle controlled by Waterland and the founders.
  • Ackermans & van Haaren, the Maas family and management on their disposal of the Manuchar group, a leading Antwerp-headquartered distributor of chemical products in emerging markets, to US private equity firm Lone Star Funds.
  • Kartesia, a leading European specialist provider of capital solutions for small and mid-sized companies, on the sale of its stake in the Sales Performance International group, to Truelink Capital.
  • The port of Zeebrugge, on its merger with the port of Antwerp.
  • Gimv on its acquisition of a 30% stake in the Picot Group, a leading producer of gates and fencing.
  • Fund +, an open-ended Fund for long term equity investment, on venture capital investment in Indigo Diabetes, a young high-tech medical device company that develops medical solutions using nanophotonics.
  • Fluxys Belgium, a Euronext listed infrastructure group and operator of the Belgian gas network, in establishing "Fluxys c-grid" (a joint effort with Pipelink, Socofe and SFPIM), a CO2 network operator in an effort to meet the Belgian CO2 climate targets.
  • Andera Partners, a French private Equity, on the sale of a majority stake in Infra Group, a Belgian specialist in controlled drilling for water, gas, electricity, sewerage, industrial piping, telecoms and cable television, to ICG.
  • Quintet Private Bank, a Luxembourg-based private bank, on the creation of a single business unit, known as Quintet Europe, by way of cross-border merge of several of its European subsidiaries: Puilaetco in Belgium, Merck Fink in Germany and InsingerGilissen in the Netherlands.

Pro bono

  • Being the main contact person within A&O Shearman for providing legal advice to Toekomstatelierdelavenir (TADA), a non-profit organization providing supplementary education for children from underprivileged neighborhoods in Brussels, as well as being a frequent volunteer for this organization by teaching introductory law classes to children.
