  • Masdar on its acquisition of 49% interest in Dogger Bank South (DBS) offshore wind project in the UK and its joint venture with RWE.
  • GIG on the establishment of Corio (a specialist offshore wind business with a project pipeline of over 30GW of green energy in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific) and divestment of part of its interest in certain offshore wind farm assets to third party investor(s).
  • The consortium of Macquarie Capital, MAM and USS on all aspects of the GBP2.3bn acquisition of the UK’s Green Investment Bank (now Green Investment Group (GIG)) from the UK government.
  • Macquarie Capital on its lead equity investment (together with TINC) in Project Mufasa, one of the largest BESS in Europe and the largest in the Netherlands, developed by Lion Storage.
  • Zenobe Energy, a battery solutions provider, on the GBP870m investment from KKR and Infracapital.
  • Macquarie as sponsor on the GBP1bn construction and operation of the 299NW MGT Teesside Biomass Combined Heat and Power Plant in the UK, supported by a Contract for Differences.
  • Castleton Commodities International (CCI) on the sale of its interests in Enecogen and MaasStroom two gas-fired combined cycle gas turbine power plants located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
  • CKI consortium on its acquisition of Phoenix Gas, Northern Ireland's largest gas distributor.
  • 3i Infrastructure on its agreement to acquire Global Cloud Xchange (GCX). GCX is a leading global data communications service provider and owns one of the world's largest private subsea fibre optic networks (66,000km) across 46 jurisdictions.
  • Macquarie Capital in respect of its investment in the European 'KevlinX' data centre development and operator platform.
  • IFM Investors on the sale of a minority interest in M6 toll road to GLIL.
