In addition, he advises clients in relation to innovative legal solutions beyond tax (e.g. regulatory, structured finance and real estate related). His practice focuses on advising clients on the tax aspects of private and public M&A, public offerings (equity and debt) and transactions related to real estate, renewables, energy, natural resources and infrastructure as well as other major corporate transactions, including spin-offs, international restructurings and joint ventures.

Godfried also litigates tax disputes. He is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar (advocaat) and a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB), the Dutch Society of Tax Lawyers (NVAB) and the Dutch Tax Society (VvBW).
