Jack specialises in advising clients from a range of sectors operating across the Middle East region on a range of technology, telecommunications, outsourcing, IP and data related matters. 

He has a particular interest advising on projects that leverage new and emerging technologies, as well as significant experience advising on both local and international data protection laws.

Jack has also spent time on secondment at a leading multinational technology company where he supported the business on group-wide IT procurement.

Representative matters

  • G42 Healthcare on an analysis of health data privacy laws and regulations in the UAE.
  • EITC (du) on various commercial, regulatory and data protection related matters.
  • A joint-stock company, the smart and sustainable regional development project in northwest Saudi Arabia, in connection with various technology-related investments, including a USD175m Series E investment in Volocopter.
  • ADGM on the drafting and negotiation of a range of technology-related commercial agreements.
  • A range of clients on complex (and often multi-jurisdictional) data protection matters, dealing with issues such as international transfers of data, data security and organisational policies and practices.
