Lamis Essop’s practice comprises structured finance and securitisation transactions, with a particular focus on collateralised loan obligations (CLOs).

Lamis represents arranger banks, investment managers, issuers, lenders and financial institutions on a broad range of capital markets transactions, including warehouse financing, CLO new issuances and resets, retention financing and finance-linked hedging arrangements. Lamis has recently advised clients such as Arini, CIFC, Bank of America, Deutsche Bank and Jefferies.

Prior to joining AO Shearman, Lamis practiced in the structured credit group of another leading US firm in London.
