Mario Garcia

Counsel

Mario is a counsel in the public law and regulated sectors team of our Madrid office. 

His main areas of expertise are energy, infrastructure, foreign investment and national security law, and government liability. He has experience in public procurement and PPP/concession-based businesses, environmental law, and sanctions.

His professional practice includes advising both international and Spanish clients on M&A and financing deals related to heavily regulated sectors. He also has broad experience advising listed companies on sensitive regulatory issues, and litigating complex administrative law cases before authorities and courts.

Mario also teaches law at the School of Legal Practice of the Universidad Complutense and at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE), both in Madrid. 
Mario is ranked as an “Up and Coming” public law lawyer in Chambers & Partners and as “Associate to Watch” in public law and energy in The Legal 500.
