He also represents life sciences clients in advertising and unfair competition litigation under the Lanham Act. Additionally, he advises international and domestic clients on data privacy compliance and third-party vendor security.

Nathan maintains an active pro bono practice, with an emphasis on international human rights.

  • Branded pharmaceutical companies, medical device suppliers, and drug compounding outsourcing facilities in false advertising and unfair competition litigation under the Lanham Act.
  • Domestic benefits provider and functional food manufacturer on Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) compliance.
  • Software as a Service (SaaS) providers on data privacy compliance under State, Federal and foreign law.
  • Dow in Trueblood-Lehr v. 3M et al., a wrongful death action stemming from alleged exposure to per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
  • Dow in State of Maine v. 3M et al., a product liability action stemming from alleged contamination of groundwater, surface waters, soils, and wildlife by PFAS.
  • Dow in numerous PFAS-related lawsuits that are consolidated in the aqueous fire-fighting foam (AFFF) multi-district litigation in South Carolina.
  • Institutional construction management firm in successful opposition to the disclosure of proprietary information and trade secrets under the Texas Public Information Act (TPIA).
  • Directional drilling company in lawsuit involving misappropriation of trade secrets and tortious interference with contract, resulting in favorable settlement for the client.
  • Underwriter syndicate in securities class action alleging misstatements and omissions in the registration statements for three public offerings.
