Poppy works on a range of commercial real estate and securitisation structures and has experience on financing portfolios backed by residential mortgage assets, non-performing assets and consumer loans.

Poppy has also completed a secondment at a major US investment bank, assisting on a wide range of real estate finance transactions.

Experience

Representative matters

  • A global financial institution as arranger on the CMBS of a €255,757,500 senior financing of a portfolio of office buildings in Belgium and Luxembourg owned by the Befimmo Group, a Belgian REIT, which was acquired by Brookfield in 2022.
  • Investors on the CMBS restructure of FROSN.
  • TwentyFour Asset Management on Oat Hill No. 3 plc which was the first UK RMBS of predominantly but-to-let mortgages with a Class A Loan Note structure.
  • The senior lender on a Dutch forward-flow platform.
  • The equity investor on a residential securitisation of a portfolio of mortgage loans originated by Northern Rock, Mortgage Express, Bradford & Bingley and Legal & General Bank Limited.
