Romain is involved in the whole spectrum of banking and finance transactions with a focus in structured financing and securitisation.
He regularly advises originators, arrangers and investors on domestic and cross-border transactions. He has experience in structuring and negotiating various types of financing structures (including ABCP and non-ABCP securitisations and synthetic securitisations) and covering a wide range of assets (including auto loans, auto leases, real estate loans, trade receivables).

A group of financial institutions on the 11 billion euros for the implementation of the participatory loan (prêts participatifs) scheme aiming to stimulate investment to revive the French economy as part of the Plan France Relance.

Milleis Banque as originator and Alantra as arranger on the debut RMBS transaction for Milleis banque through the issuance by FCT French Prime Cash 2023 (a French securitisation vehicle) of €683,500,000 Class A Asset-Backed Fixed Rate Notes listed on the French unregulated market Euronext Growth and meeting Eurosystem eligibility criteria.

A global financial institution in the structuring and documenting of a synthetic securitisation structure aiming at achieving SRT treatment under CRR reflecting the first loss tranche of a 5Bn portfolio of large corporate loans; the transaction is structured around a financial guarantee provided by a securitisation entity issuing privately placed notes to investors.

A group of financial institutions as arrangers and joint lead managers of a public securitisation of an auto leases portfolio through the issuance by Cars Alliance Auto Leases France V 2023-1 (a French securitisation vehicle) of €700,000,000.00 Class A Asset-Backed Floating Rate Notes and €36,900,000.00 Class B Asset-Backed Floating Rate Notes structured as to achieve Eurosystem eligibility for the Class A Asset-Backed Floating Rate Notes.
