Samantha specializes in dispute resolution with an emphasis on securities litigation, mergers and acquisitions litigation, complex commercial litigation, appellate litigation, and internal and regulatory investigations. She also advises global corporations navigating mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions, and on governance disputes.
During law school, Samantha served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Judge Amy Berman Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and as a law clerk in the U.S. Attorney’s Office Violent and Organized Crime Unit. She was also a student attorney in Georgetown University Law Center’s Civil Litigation Clinic and on the Executive Board of the Moot Court team.

A large multinational pharmaceutical distributor in a special litigation committee investigation.

Former CEO of media and entertainment company in shareholder lawsuit concerning fiduciary duty claims.

A financial institution in a class action asserting violations of the Commodity Exchange Act.

A publicly traded hospitality company in a dispute with a former director concerning the exercise of warrants.     

Major financial institution in connection with investigations by federal regulatory authorities, including the SEC, DOJ, and the CFTC. 

Underwriters in securities class actions arising out of stock offerings.

Pro bono

Samantha has an active pro bono practice focusing on representing criminal defendants at the trial and appellate levels, and other matters concerning civil and human rights.
